Machinesoft

The Machinesoft team was founded by award winning inventors and engineers with an impressive resume. The team's accomplishments include inventing a new form of robotics that took a company public on the NYSX. Thier inventions in energy reduction and management controls has led to many patents and national awards. In the late 1990's with their expertise in robotics they began engineering projects for the nuclear field with companies in the technology corridor in Oak Ridge–home of Oak Ridge National Labs.

The Machinesoft primary team consists of:

Gregory Davis
Chief Technology Officer, Founder
An executive senior level software designer and inventor with successful projects in every populated continent of the world, Greg Davis has brought numerous products from the concept stage to production in the industrial, motion control robotics and nuclear power markets. During his more than 30 years in software programming, Mr. Davis has been awarded multiple patents and many of his inventions have been featured in high profile publications and showcased on news programs such as CNN. His specialties are in complex logic and problem solving — the key points in designing competent software.

Earlier in his career, AT&T and Lucent enlisted Mr. Davis to design and produce a worldwide intranet utilizing the Internet, voice mail and video-on-demand for major worldwide airports. A scaled-down version of this system was completed for cell phone manufacturer Ericsson's world-headquarters. Based in Tennessee, Mr. Davis has been awarded countless honors and his inventions have won numerous awards, including first place honors at the Bobbin Show and the Innovative Standout Blue Ribbon and the Innovative Technology Award at Lightfair International.

Moshe Shloush
Chief Scientist, Founder
Mr. Shloush, a product designer specializing in motion control and electronics, brings extensive lighting and control expertise and leadership to the company. A successful inventor, scientist and motion-control/electrical engineer with numerous patents spanning the energy and industrial fields, Mr. Shloush's large body of work includes designing advanced robotic solutions for multi-million-dollar systems and the world's first 100% electronic HID (high-intensity discharge) lighting ballast, which won an Innovative Standout Blue Ribbon and the Innovative Technology Award at LightFair International.

Mr. Shloush entered the lighting industry as a Research and Development consultant at Aurora Lighting in 2001 and was promoted to Vice President of R&D in 2005. Prior to Mr. Shloush's work in lighting, he was director of motion control R&D at Robotic Control Group in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, where he patented an innovative modular motion control system. Mr. Shloush also served as director of engineering at Bertelkamp Automation, where he led the motion control department from start-up status to achieving $2 million in sales in 12 months.

At Tice Engineering, Mr. Shloush & Mr. Davis developed the world's first electronically geared sewing machine with 90% fewer moving parts than in existing sewing machines. The highly advanced, award-winning innovative design was essential to the production of automotive airbags and in the aircraft industry and led Tice Engineering to an NYSE IPO.

In June 2013, Mr. Shloush & Mr. Davis's networkable and micro-controlled induction ballast design was awarded a LightFair International Innovation Award in the "Ballasts, Transformers, and LED Drivers" for its innovative design and next-generation networking capabilities. This Controllable Induction Lighting System offers nearly unlimited control and flexibility, along with energy savings. Features include: Individual or zonal control, simple scheduling, maintenance and security alerts, PC and wireless networking and remote control, motion sensing and daylight harvesting using Plug-n-Play technology, plus all of induction lighting's standard benefits over HID, such as 100,000 hour rated lamp life, instant start, higher efficacy, better CRI, and superior lumen maintenance.

The Induction Generator was chosen as Category Winner over all other product entries representing major world-wide manufacturers. The LFI Innovation Awards honor industry innovations for lighting-related products and designs introduced over the prior year. Each product was judged by an independent panel of renowned lighting professionals. The awards are sponsored by the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) and the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD).
